An Assistant Accountant is required to a growing manufacturing business based on the outskirts of West Hull villages. Our client was founded over 10 years ago by a larger group within the area and has an excellent reputation within their market for being reliable and committed. Our client has seen huge growth over the last few years and to assist with their growth plans they are now seeking an Assistant Accountant who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge and progress within the company and their career to join the Finance team.
As the Assistant Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with different areas of the company. You will play a pivotal part of team, working with both staff in the office and out of the office, helping them achieve their goals and drive forward process and system improvements. The successful Assistant Accountant will have a ‘can do’ attitude, will be keen to assist with the development of processes and have great attention to detail.

As the Assistant Accountant you will be an ambitious, driven and commercially aware individual who has excellent attention to detail. You will have excellent experience of using Excel and have strong experience of using Microsoft 365 and other ERP systems. The ideal Assistant Accountant will be able to think on their feet, have strong communication skills both written and verbal and ability to use own initiative. The successful Assistant Accountant will have experience of working towards deadlines and be keen to assist with the development of procedures to ensure processes are streamline.
