Our client is a mid-sized independent Accountancy Practice in East Yorkshire. Due to succession planning they are looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. They are looking for a candidate who either has existing management experience or one who is ready to make a step up from Tax Senior. The successful candidate will work with the director to advise their diverse portfolio of clients from leading SME’s to high-net-worth individuals.

To be the successful candidate for the role of Tax Manager you will have the following qualities.

• A tax qualification, CTA or ATT, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT)
• Those who are ACA or ACCA qualified with significant tax experience will be considered.
• The ability to advise a mixed portfolio of clients on matters of personal and corporate tax.
• Knowledge of planning and delegation of tax work to a tax team.
• Ability to deal with HMRC paperwork, Forms P11D, CT61 etc.
• The ability to monitor and adhere to strict deadlines.
• A commitment to the continuous professional development and that of more junior staff.
• The desire to represent the firm in a positive light during events.
• The right to work in the UK.
