The Partner Designate will work directly with a partner to assist them with their handling of high-level clients. For the right candidate there is the potential for progression to salaried partner and subsequently equity partner.

My client is looking for an immediate appointment to the position of Partner Designate to compliment a successful and well-established accountancy firm with its main office in Beverley with an additional office in Goole. Sowerby Chartered accountants act for a wide ranging and ever-growing client base across varied industries with clients in both East Yorkshire and the wider UK.

The desired qualities of the Partner Designate are as follows;

• A professional qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA gained in a general practice environment.
• Significant post qualified managerial experience.
• Experience in managing a client portfolio and confident in meeting clients face to face, particularly in the owner managed business sector.
• Confidence in dealing with a variety of business clients from sole traders to limited companies.
• Must be alert to changes and have the flexibility to adapt quickly.
• Must be a problem solver who would be able to act on their own initiative.
• Must have an eye for detail and the ability to convey information in an efficient manner.
• Proven track record in ability to generate new business through existing or new clients.
• As Partner Designate you will be a significant link to the Partners
• Personable and strategic thinker with a passion of innovation towards clients and new ways of practice management.
• A driven individual who is keen to showcase their experience and success and is looking for partnership in the practice within a reasonable timescale.
