EK Financial Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join a local well-established company who have a presence locally and nationally within their sector. With their head office based in West Hull, within new open plan offices our client is currently seeking a full-time Credit Controller who will join a team of credit controllers. As the Credit Controller for this business, you will have experience of running a busy ledger from start to finish. The ideal Credit Controller will have an eye for detail and be a confident communicator both verbally and written.

As the Credit Controller, you will report to the Finance Team Leader and be responsible for;

• Effective collection of all debts and customer payments on the Part and Services Sales Ledger
• To be responsible for recovering overdue amounts from customers using various communication methods, including taking responsibility for reducing amounts owed and debtor days
• Reporting upon financial performance of the credit control function
• Keep up to date with bank statements and post and allocate daily receipts
• Set up and manage new accounts
• Setting and monitoring credit limits on new and existing accounts
• Prepare and despatch monthly statements to customers
• To assist with the monthly aged debtor reporting
• Operate the query system
• Produce monthly debtor reports for management showing any potential problem areas
• Liaising internally and externally to resolve queries in a timely manner

To be the successful Credit Controller you must have;

• Several years’ experience within Credit Control
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines
• Strong, confident and good interpersonal skills
