A growing company
Since moving to the current site on Bergen Way in 2012, the business has expanded steadily, increasing annual revenue from £7.5m to £20m, and has now secured new contracts which will further increase turnover to £25m. Employing over 200 people, the business has recently invested £3m into new factory infrastructure, creating the capacity for further expansion to a level of around £30m turnover.
Every member of the Advanced Plastics team is empowered and trained to perform the functions for which they are responsible; each and every one plays a vital role in the success of the business and is encouraged to develop their skills through a programme of structured vocational and academic training and being a part of the Senior Management Team is no exception.
This is an exciting opportunity to take up a senior position with potential to exert strategic influence and drive positive change across the business. As well as taking a leading role in the financial management of Advanced Plastics, the successful candidate will also have responsibility for business administration and IT.
To be a successful Financial Controller you will be an autonomous manager and leader who can influence and drive change in the business. You’ll have previous experience working as a Financial Controller with the desire and potential to progress to Finance Director, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
